Music for the good cause

Under the motto “Two Raiffeisen Bands – One Party” the two Raiffeisen bands Brass it! and Haupt’soch G’sund invited to their first concert at the Wiener Reigen on 9 May. The proceeds of the concert will be directly donated to the project “Street children of Novi Sad”, which the musicians have chosen themselves.

Full house

Around 400 people were in the audience and participated in the first official concert of both Raiffeisen bands. The atmosphere was good and exuberant. A great side effect was the possibility of networking amongst Raiffeisen employees.

Herbert Stepic was deeply impressed by the initiative of the two bands to donate their ticket proceeds to the Charity. He said he had always been the big fan of the bank band Brass it! that originated during the RI and RZB merger in 2010. The name of Raiffeisen Centrobank’s band Haupt’soch G’sund would speak for itself anyways, according to Stepic, as the most important gift for a human being in life is to be healthy. Therefore, we should support the people who are not so well off and give them a better chance for their lives, Stepic closed his speech.

Positive voices

For the band members themselves it was a satisfying feeling to know that with their performance they did not only create an exuberant atmosphere but also, at the same time, helped young people so they won’t have to live on the streets any longer. Also Joseph Eberle, board member of the H. Stepic CEE Charity and division head at RBI, was very much impressed with the commitment of the band: “It is great to see how committed our employees help others. The Charity has been involved with the project “Street children in Novi Sad” since 2009. I am very happy that these children are not forgotten and that we fight for them so they can have a better life. A big thank you to the band that they donate the ticket proceeds to the Charity!”
