In May 2013, Katharina Gamharter, project supervisor of H. Stepic CEE Charity visited the new premises of the Centre for Youth Integration in Belgrade in order to get to personally know the beneficiaries of the program and their local caretakers.
The H. Stepic CEE Charity stands for continuous support and sustainable supervision of its fosterlings. Recently, Peter Lennkh, RBI board member responsible for Corporate Business and member of the H. Stepic CEE Charity Board visited the Centre, so that he could have himself an impression of the children residing there.
“We have already achieved so much here in the Centre for Youth Integration in Belgrade. Once the Charity takes over the supervision of a project, the work is by far not done with the successful implementation of the project. We always keep an eye on the lives of our fosterlings and do try to support them whenever and however we can“, says Lennkh.
To make the children feel secure not only on such a pleasant afternoon as the one Lennkh attended to, but continuously and over time, the Charity will continue its support system. A good sign for the success of the initiative is the appreciation and approval of the Charity among the local community. Only the long-term supervision and continuous commitment ensures the sustainability of the project and thus, the uppermost goal of reintegrating these vulnerable children back into society can be achieved.
