“The House of Hope” in Odessa

Since last year, the CEE Stepic Charity has been supporting the project "The House of Hope" in Odessa, Ukraine. For us, this project is a heartfelt opportunity, as many children in Ukraine live on the poverty line and therefore the importance of education is often forgotten.

The aim of the project is to help 120 children between 7-18 years of age to develop personal and physical qualities that contribute to the successful social adaptation of children and youth in society. The initiative was motivated by the widespread problem of alcoholism in Ukraine. According to studies by the WHO, Ukraine ranks first in Europe in terms of alcoholism among young people. 40% of the young generation drink alcohol regularly. That is why the house should be seen as an opportunity for children from socially unprotected segments of the population to receive a full-fledged education according to their abilities and feel like a proper member of society, so that they can ultimately step confidently into a better future. And this is where the Stepic CEE Charity comes in. With our support, we want to set our children on the right path and offer them the best possible learning education. To this purpose, our funds are used, among other things, for the English lessons, computer skills lessons and homework help that are offered, as well as the school materials that are needed.A place like “The House of Hope”this is of tremendous value. It is a source of hope and motivation for our children to create a better future, full of success and love.
