On 10 October, the Charity celebrated its tenth anniversary. On this occasion, we welcomed more than 200 guests to the dome hall of the Museum of Fine Arts to host a Fundraising Dinner.
“I am very happy that so many people got together in order to celebrate our anniversary. It was a moving evening which our guests and I surely will remember for a long time. The celebration marks a milestone for the future of the Charity – I am very thankful to everyone who helped laying it”, said Chairman Herbert Stepic.
The evening was a real success. Not only were the culinary and musical program – Timna Brauer and Ensemble – very well received, the auction proved to be very popular as well and brought amazing results. All in all, table sale and auction – led by Matthew C. Hagerty of the "Dorotheum" – amounted to € 200.000. This sum exceeds the proceeds of the last two Fundraising Dinners in 2011 and 2013 by far, and we can continue to support the Day Care Centre for street children in Belgrade substantially.
