Project „Social Housing“, Bosnia The project “Social Housing” in Bosnia is being realized in co-operation with the community Ilijaš and the relief agency Hilfswerk Austria. Bosnia-Herzegovina is still facing serious difficulties in finding durable solutions for the suitable accommodation, integration and socialization of the most vulnerable members of its population, such as socially vulnerable women and their families (who have no or very little income), single mothers, war widows, and/or traumatized women, such as war victims. The project’s objective is to support these war victims – who, in some cases, also suffer from the complete destruction of their homes - in their reintegration efforts and to offer them a long-term solution for their accommodation needs. The H. Stepic CEE Charity finances a house that will be offered to such women in need.
