100 tons of flour to Moldova

In cooperation with organisations of the Raiffeisen Banking Group Austria – among them Raiffeisen Regional Bank Lower Austria-Vienna AG – the H. Stepic CEE Charity organized a convoy of five trucks carrying 100 tons of wheat flour to Moldova in 2007. In Chisinau, the wheat flour from Romania’s Titan Mills was distributed to hospitals, schools, kindergartens and other governmental institutions, which were in desperate need of flour due to the severe drought the country faced the year before.

"Once again, the far-reaching Raiffeisen banking network in the region proved to be a great advantage and enabled us to provide help quickly and without undue bureaucracy", stated Herbert Stepic, founder of the H. Stepic CEE Charity.
