100 tons of flour to Moldavia

In cooperation with Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich AG (RZB), Raiffeisen International Bank-Holding AG and RZB's main shareholder Raiffeisen Regional Bank Lower Austria-Vienna AG, the H. Stepic CEE Charity organized a convoy of five trucks carrying 100 tonnes of wheat flour for Moldova. In Chisinau, the wheat flour from Romania’s Titan Mills was distributed to hospitals, schools, kindergartens and other governmental institutions, which were in desperate need of flour due to the severe drought the country faced the year before.

"Once again, the far-reaching Raiffeisen Banking network in the region proved to be a great advantage and enabled us to provide help quickly and without undue bureaucracy", stated Herbert Stepic, founder of the H. Stepic CEE Charity.
